I love this...I too hear those words screaming for freedom. "Eyes opened to the soul. Soul of a poet." We poets are always delving within ourselves to split our soul with a pen.
Is a "rotary listing" an antique dial phone? Words, like numbers "one by one"? If I got that right, I am with you for the rest. Words. Almost. One by one. No matter. They touch the soul; They show the soul. Yes. That is a wonderful world!
'restless' is one of my most defining inner characteristics. and the familiarity of things caged, pacing, screaming to get out... oh willow. how true does this ring for me. the feeling of these words, so true, like the language of light on trees, or of waves stirred up by the deep inner workings of the ocean.

ReplyDelete"We poets." I love this. Yes. We poets must scribble and split our souls. I treasure your words here.
